Overview
Since every item is carefully hand-packed, it leaves our nursery in optimal condition. We choose the biggest and healthiest plants that we can ship. All plants are pre-treated and given extra hydration before being shipped to ensure they can withstand lengthy journeys and unanticipated delays. The technique helps lessen any harm brought on by temperature fluctuations while plants are in transit, preserves the leaf structure, and permits the plant to breathe without losing moisture. The leaf may have a milky coating; this is typical and will disappear with rain. Even so, issues do arise from time to time. We are aware of that. This is how to resolve it.
Steps to follow:
- Before placing an order, please review every product description. To aid with your selection, we make every effort to provide as much information as we can, such as sizes, care instructions, and information on whether the products are seeds, bulbs, tubestock plants, or plug plants. Please take time to read this.
- You must determine whether the plant is suitable for your area and environment.
- As soon as your order arrives, check it.
- Reach out to our customer support y submitting contact form or send us an email at info@dumbocart.co.uk as soon as you can; ideally, within 48 hours of receipt. After that, we are unable to take accountability for any concerns or delivery issues. Provide us with your complete name, the email address you used to place the order, and, if applicable, the order number.
What issue exists?
- When they are delivered, your plants are dead, dying, or in bad shape. If we have replacement plants available, we will mail them to you or give you a credit for the value of your plants. Take the preceding actions. “Poor condition” refers to the likelihood of a product surviving and growing due to shipping problems. It does not imply that a plant that is generally healthy and alive has one or two yellowing or damaged leaves. Throughout their lives, plants routinely lose their lower leaves, which has little bearing on how big they can get.
- The plants that were delivered do not match the variety or product that you ordered. If we have replacement plants available, we will mail them to you or give you a credit for the value of your plants. Take the preceding actions. After flowering, your plant is not the type or colour you bought. If we have replacement plants available, we will mail them to you or give you a credit for the value of your plants. Take the preceding actions. We acknowledge that you won’t be able to get in touch with us in a 48-hour period. Kindly notify us as soon as the plant begins to blossom.
- Your plants don’t appear as they should. We cultivate and market what are referred to as tubestock plants in the industry. By this technical word, it is meant that they are larger than a seedling and considerably more mature than a plug plant. Images of common tubestock plants are available on nearly all product pages. For more information, see our blog post on how we grow our plants. Please remember that plants are dynamic, living beings. They are not made in a factory by us. Sizes and images are for reference only. The best plants we have in store are always the ones we send out. We don’t issue refunds merely because the plants don’t match your expectations, your previous tubestock order, or the internet photographs. A portion of our indoor plants are supplied in plug form; these are big enough to be planted outside or potted. We note in the description and upload an image to the image gallery if we ship plug plants. These are shipped inside empty tubestock pots for increased safety. The plants in question have not ‘lost their soil’.
- This plant doesn’t belong in your climate. Our goal is to include as much care and culture information as we can on the product pages, such as the type of soil required, water requirements, and if the plant can withstand frost once it reaches maturity. To ensure that the plants you choose are appropriate for the specific conditions of your garden, please read these before making a purchase.
- You ordered seeds or bulbs in error, believing them to be plants. Every product page should have comprehensive information about the products, including whether they are seeds or bulbs. Within 48 hours of delivery, you can return them to us at your own expense for a full refund of the product price. We don’t reimburse shipping fees.
- You either ordered the incorrect plant or have since changed your mind. Since we are unable to resale plants that were purchased in error, we do not accept returns or offer refunds.
- You ordered the following, excluding gift cards, and now decide you no longer want it as a present or garden care item. If the product comes in the same condition as when it was shipped to you, you may return them to us at your own expense for a refund of the product cost within 48 hours of receipt. We don’t reimburse shipping fees.
